Similarly, the Russian audiobook The New History<\/a> is followed by \u0417\u0430\u043c\u0435\u0442\u043a\u0438 \u043d\u0430 \u043f\u043e\u043b\u044f\u0445<\/i> in the Russian version of the site and by Notes de margeru<\/sup><\/i> in the French version.<\/p>\n\n

01\/08\/2024<\/span>Created the About<\/a> subsection allowing to noticeably unload the homepage, on which mainly links and hedgehogs remained.<\/p>\n\n

26\/06\/2024<\/span>Published a poetic translation to Russian \u042f \u0432\u0435\u0440\u044e (Believer)<\/a> about overcoming and becoming through pain. May this cup pass from you.<\/p>\n\n

14\/06\/2024<\/span>Published the first Russian audiobook The New History<\/a> by Arkady Averchenko. Its 24 chapters are packed into a convenient and elegant playlist, carefully processed with a CSS steel file for the sake of my favorite listeners. Gourmets will especially appreciate the now traditional side notes.<\/p>\n\n

09\/06\/2024<\/span>The \u201cHobbies\u201d section has undergone a critical rethink, rearrangement and renaming to Books<\/a>. Now Russian audiobooks (coming soon), poems and grammar live there.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

31\/03\/2023<\/span>Updated the homepage<\/a> picture. After all, I\u2019m now four years older and fourteen kilos lighter, one needs to point it out somehow.<\/p>\n\n

05\/02\/2022<\/span>Published a poetic translation \u041f\u0441\u0438\u0445\u043e\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0430\u043f\u0438\u044f (Therapy)<\/a>. The performance itself, whether in Russian or English, gives a wonderful therapeutic effect, especially if you get it right on the first try.<\/p>\n\n

31\/08\/2021<\/span>Published a poetic translation from Russian to French L\u2019Auteur (\u0410\u0432\u0442\u043e\u0440)<\/a>. The original song may have been my school anthem if only it wasn\u2019t for the fact that Monsieur Chebykin attended school about the same time I did.<\/p>\n\n

15\/04\/2021<\/span>Published a poetic translation from Russian to French Votre Majest\u00e9 la Femme (\u0412\u0430\u0448\u0435 \u0432\u0435\u043b\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e \u0416\u0435\u043d\u0449\u0438\u043d\u0430)<\/a> as my humble gift to the one and only Mistress of the Copper Mountain on the occasion of her birthday.<\/p>\n\n

11\/04\/2021<\/span>Cleaned and brushed up the section of translated songs<\/a>. A link to every work is now complemented by a briefest clarification in parenthesis: original\u2019s title and performer (or source<\/span> if that\u2019s more familiar). Got rid of the visual and informational garbage: tables, albums, years, etc. It\u2019s an artistic site after all, not an accounting ledger.<\/p>\n\n

24\/05\/2020<\/span>Published a poetic translation \u041a\u043e\u043d\u0442\u0440\u043e\u043b-\u0446\u044d (Pomme C)<\/a>. If you\u2019re not that good at Russian, you can at least enjoy a mind-blowing computer\/human wordplay of the original French lyrics. The DSL goddess alone worth it.<\/p>\n\n

05\/05\/2020<\/span>Created the very section you are currently looking through. From now on you can see the last update date in the footer of every page.<\/p>\n\n

23\/04\/2020<\/span>Moved the contact<\/a> section from the first level to the home submenu. In time, new auxillary sections will populate it as well.<\/p>\n\n

20\/04\/2020<\/span>Created the section of translated songs<\/a> in five language pairs. The original\/verbatim switch was made using CSS only, if anyone\u2019s interested; the common fields and tricky navigation forced me to grill JS. The section isn\u2019t optimized for mobile devices yet as its content wasn\u2019t meant for that.<\/p>\n\n

06\/06\/2019<\/span>A link to the parent section was added to the additional menu at the bottom<\/a>, to complete the picture. The image frames and the menu separators became significantly paler (they aren\u2019t that important, after all).<\/p>\n\n

13\/05\/2019<\/span>Each photo became an anchor link to itself, which is convenient if you want to show it<\/a> without taking it out of context. Besides, now one can scroll any section by clicking on the next photo, as it moves to the top of the visible screen. Give it a try, you\u2019re going to love it.<\/p>\n\n

29\/04\/2019<\/span>Set up the mobile version. In particular, you\u2019ll see the names of photo<\/a> subsections not after having hovered a cursor over them, but instantly, in case you use a finger as a cursor and have nothing to hover with.<\/p>\n\n

25\/03\/2019<\/span>Launched the new website. On the inside, there\u2019re WordPress<\/a> platform, Astra<\/a> template, a handful of plugins and CSS archipelago. On the outside, one can find home<\/a>, photo<\/a>, contact<\/a>, and some sweet things. Have you hovering over the logo already?<\/p>\n\n
