For example, under the French translation <a href=\"..\/songs\/ru-to-fr\/auteur\/\">L\u2019Auteur<\/a>, the English version of the site displays <i>Side notes<sup>fr<\/sup><\/i>, while the French version shows simply <i>Notes de marge<\/i>. May this cup pass from you.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>14\/06\/2024<\/span>Published the first Russian audiobook <a href=\"..\/books\/audiobooks\/averchenko\/new-history\/\">The New History<\/a> by Arkady Averchenko. Its 24&nbsp;chapters are packed into a&nbsp;convenient and elegant playlist, carefully processed with a&nbsp;CSS steel file for the sake of my favorite listeners. Gourmets will especially appreciate the now traditional side&nbsp;notes.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>09\/06\/2024<\/span>The \u201cHobbies\u201d section has undergone a&nbsp;critical rethink, rearrangement and renaming to <a href=\"..\/books\/\">Books<\/a>. The performance itself, whether in Russian or English, gives a&nbsp;wonderful therapeutic effect, especially if you get it right on the first&nbsp;try.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>31\/08\/2021<\/span>Published a&nbsp;poetic translation from Russian to French <a href=\"..\/songs\/ru-to-fr\/auteur\/\">L\u2019Auteur (\u0410\u0432\u0442\u043e\u0440)<\/a>. The original song may have been my school anthem if only it wasn\u2019t for the fact that Monsieur Chebykin attended school about the same time I&nbsp;did.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>15\/04\/2021<\/span>Published a&nbsp;poetic translation from Russian to French <a href=\"..\/songs\/ru-to-fr\/votre-majeste-la-femme\/\">Votre&nbsp;Majest\u00e9 la&nbsp;Femme (\u0412\u0430\u0448\u0435&nbsp;\u0432\u0435\u043b\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e \u0416\u0435\u043d\u0449\u0438\u043d\u0430)<\/a> as my humble gift to the one and only Mistress of the Copper Mountain on the occasion of her birthday.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>11\/04\/2021<\/span>Cleaned and brushed up the section of <a href=\"..\/songs\">translated songs<\/a>. A&nbsp;link to every work is now complemented by a&nbsp;briefest clarification in parenthesis: original\u2019s title and performer (or <span class=\"performance\">source<\/span> if that\u2019s more familiar). Got&nbsp;rid of the visual and informational garbage: tables, albums, years, etc. It\u2019s an artistic site after all, not an accounting ledger.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>24\/05\/2020<\/span>Published a&nbsp;poetic translation <a href=\"..\/songs\/fr-to-ru\/pomme-c\/\">\u041a\u043e\u043d\u0442\u0440\u043e\u043b-\u0446\u044d (Pomme&nbsp;C)<\/a>. If you\u2019re not that good at Russian, you can at least enjoy a&nbsp;mind-blowing computer\/human wordplay of the original French lyrics. The DSL goddess alone worth&nbsp;it.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>05\/05\/2020<\/span>Created the very section you are currently looking through. From now on you can see the last update date in the footer of every&nbsp;page.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>23\/04\/2020<\/span>Moved the <a href=\"..\/contact\">contact<\/a> section from the first level to the home submenu. In&nbsp;time, new auxillary sections will populate it as&nbsp;well.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>20\/04\/2020<\/span>Created the section of <a href=\"..\/songs\">translated songs<\/a> in five language pairs. The original\/verbatim switch was made using CSS only, if anyone\u2019s interested; the common fields and tricky navigation forced me to grill&nbsp;JS. The section isn\u2019t optimized for mobile devices yet as its content wasn\u2019t meant for&nbsp;that.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>06\/06\/2019<\/span>A link to the parent section was added to the additional menu <a href=\"..\/photo\/flora\/#10\">at&nbsp;the bottom<\/a>, to&nbsp;complete the picture. The image frames and the menu separators became significantly paler (they aren\u2019t that important, after all).<\/p>\n\n<p><span>13\/05\/2019<\/span>Each photo became an anchor link to itself, which is convenient if you want to <a href=\"..\/photo\/fauna\/#3\">show&nbsp;it<\/a> without taking it out of context. Besides, now one can scroll any section by clicking on the next photo, as it moves to the top of the visible screen. Give it a&nbsp;try, you\u2019re going to love&nbsp;it.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>29\/04\/2019<\/span>Set up the mobile version.  In particular, you\u2019ll see the names of <a href=\"..\/photo\">photo<\/a> subsections not after having hovered a&nbsp;cursor over them, but instantly, in case you use a&nbsp;finger as a&nbsp;cursor and have nothing to hover&nbsp;with.<\/p>\n\n<p><span>25\/03\/2019<\/span>Launched the new website.
