  1. Good morning in Bra\u0219ov. A seven-centimetre stag beetle sunbathes on the arcade of the Catherine\u2019s Gate. \n<\/li>\n\n
  2. The main maternity hospital of the city since 1973 (before that it was a medical college).\n<\/li>\n\n
  3. The Black Tower of the 15th<\/sup> century (modestly indicated under the loopholes) isn\u2019t that black now, but it once burned, too, and this isn\u2019t forgotten.\n<\/li>\n\n
  4. A sax guy has settled near the tower and methodically asks passers-by where they are from.\n<\/li>\n \n
  5. Apollonia Cultural Centre.\n<\/li>\n\n
  6. The Franciscan Church was built three centuries ago as part of the Franciscan monastery (little remained of it by that time).\n<\/li>\n\n

  9. After lunch, I took a bus with a bicycle trailer to the picturesque ski resort of Poiana Bra\u0219ov<\/a>.\n<\/li>\n\n
  10. I tramp to the cable car past the circus on wheels.\n<\/li>\n\n
  11. The Church of St. John the Baptist is younger than me, but built in the Maramure\u0219<\/a> style to sell souvenirs to gullible tourists.\n<\/li>\n\n
  12. Aurelius Spa also knows how to present itself.\n<\/li>\n\n

  14. Ascending in a Coca-Cola cabin past an indecently geometric reservoir.\n<\/li>\n\n
  15. A hotel-restaurant just below the cable cars. The views from the windows are surely stunning, but I foresee difficulties with the infrastructure.\n<\/li>\n\n
  16. There are still about a hundred metres to the top.\n<\/li>\n\n

  18. There\u2019s a suspicion that a metre column at the top of the Post\u0103varul Massif<\/a> (1799 m) was installed for the sake of rounding.\n<\/li>\n\n
  19. Let\u2019s look back at the path we\u2019ve travelled.\n<\/li>\n\n
  20. Let\u2019s enjoy the endless spaces.\n<\/li>\n\n
  21. And then let\u2019s tramp down, stumbling over the \u201cNo access\u201d signs. (Beg pardon, but where to?)\n<\/li>\n\n
  22. Making my way through dense forest to Pe\u015ftera de Lapte (the Milk Cave).\n<\/li>\n\n
  23. You should notice the entrance somehow. If it weren\u2019t for the sign, I\u2019d still be looking for it.\n<\/li>\n\n
  24. It\u2019s polar cold, dank damp and pitch dark inside. The little bright spot in the centre is the very entrance. \n<\/li>\n\n
  25. Geological layers. Watch your head.\n<\/li>\n\n
  26. I have no idea who was milked in this Milk Cave, but I\u2019d better go.\n<\/li>\n\n
  27. These strawberries did not bloom for me.\n<\/li>\n\n
  28. A dung beetle is a relative of the sacred scarab, by the way. Show some respect.\n<\/li>\n\n
